Training & individual advice

Individual advice

Typical task:

(Biomass) CHP for a local heating network consisting of several buildings and a commercially used hall that is still being built.

In an agricultural property, a farm or a small business enterprise, the old heating systems are to be connected to a local heating network.
A new hall is being built, which is under 10,000 m²; will be great.

Questions that will be clarified in the training:

  • How big does the CHP unit have to be.

  • When do I not have to use heat.

  • Can I let the CHP run through in summer?

  • How much wood chips or fuel does the CHP use

  • How big must the buffer storage be

  • How do I determine the connected loads for the local heating network connections?

  • Which cross-sections / nominal widths do I have to provide for the network?

  • Why do I even need the buffer storage?

  • How big does the CHP unit have to be if I want to supply other participants later?

  • How can I determine load data if I hardly know the current consumption?

  • What flow and return temperatures does the heating network have to have?

  • Can I earn money with the CHP?

In the training:

  • What technology do I use to obtain such data?

  • Training on the measuring computers

  • Attachment of the wireless temperature sensors and operation of the wireless data loggers.

  • Specifications for measurements on heating circuits.

  • Measuring the amount of heat with ultrasonic miniature measuring systems.

  • What is the minimum accuracy required?

  • How do I determine the heating output from the amount of fuel from the previous year?

  • Why does the CHP have to be smaller than the boiler (thermal output)

  • What is a heat price, how can I determine it?

  • How do I determine the heat sales price for my heat customers?

  • Joint preparation of a profitability scenario suitable for the bank.
